TTT Marine Timber

TTT Marine Timber is specially milled to ensure only sapwood timber is present, as sawn timber with heartwood will not allow penetration or retention of enough preservative to allow us to achieve the H6 Hazard Class requirements.

Each batch of H6 Hazard Class treated sawn timber is sampled, and borings are sent off to an independent laboratory to check compliance with the H6 Hazard Class requirements. Once confirmation of compliance has been received the Marine Timber is then ready to be dispatched. This means the process is a lengthy one and can take at least 6 weeks from order to supply.

To provide the best H6 Hazard Class protection the sawn timber should be supplied in the lengths you require, and all drilling or cutting should be done before treatment. TTT can pre-drill and pre-cut as required prior to treatment.

All sawn timber supplied by TTT is reliably top quality, and sourced from professional, sustainably managed sawmills. We check all the sawn timber we source to ensure it has been graded by the supplier and is of regular sizing and consistent quality.

Marine Timber is treated to H6 Hazard Class to provide protection against fungal and insect attack in a Marine situation.
